A snowflake of Thankfulness

Just wanted to share a card I made for a friend. She is so sweet and passes to me all the clothes that her two boys outgrow. She needed a thank you card and wanted it to have a winter feel. I was wracking my brain when I saw this fabulous card on Pinterest and had a brain surge! I loved it and finally got to use my new snowflake dies by Spellbinders. Here is my CASE on the card by Amy Kolling.

Isn't it fun? I am so glad that I had my new metal shim too...it makes these snowflakes a breeze to do now! The sentiment is from Think Big Favorites #19 Mini Set by Papertrey Ink. I love the little mini sets. They are always so beautiful and for just $5.00, quite the steal!

I think I will be playing on this layout and idea for other cards. I would love to see what I can do with other dies in my collection.

Make a wee little wish

It's the third Sunday in April (already??) and this week's challenge for Paper Sundaes Challenge Blog is easy--Anything Goes!

Our sponsor is
Lacey has some of the best prices out there for her very large selection of the top stamp companies! I recently placed an order from her for some of the Wee Stamps by Sylvia Zet...and here is one of the ones I ordered!

Here is the darling little Dandelion Girl from Wee Stamps by Sylvia Zet! I am a huge Wee Stamps fan. They are just so precious! I was able to practice my pleating with her dress…eh, not the best, but definitely improving! Her hair on the other hand, I am quite tickled with! I decided to go with a fun color combo of Bashful Blue and So Saffron—I love these two together! I added some Stickles to the dandelion fluff, and some Glossy Accents to her shoes and watering can. I really like this Fringed Perennial Die-namic by My Favorite things. It was interesting to put together. The sentiment is from the Dandy Wishes set by Paper Makeup Stamps.

Challenge List:
1. Crafty Sentiments Designs~ Spring with Pastel Colors
2. Die Cuttin' Divas #60~ Pastels
(used dies for the flower, the tag, and the oval)
3. Twisted Tuesday Challenges #2~ use flowers, but no roses
(dandelion and fringed perennial)
