Need a Lift? OO-LA-LA!

We had a great release party on the 7th for the new April Stamps by Paper Makeup Stamps! We had a short sneak week, so for the last few days we've been reviewing the new stamps that were released to give you even MORE ideas on how you could use them! You can find the summary of each day's review by going to the Paper Makeup Stamps blog.

Saturday we reviewed the new Fairies and Flutterbies.
Yesterday we shared some more of the Rockin' Monsters and new Moody.
Today a few of us are giving you another look at the AWESOME stamp set Oo-la-la!

Now I must admit that at first I wasn't sure that I would ever use this set. But when Katie sent it to me and I saw what everyone did with it for the sneaks, I thought that it might be fun to try sometime. Well that sometime was last night! And oh my goodness! I am just so in LOVVVVEEEEEE with the card I turned out!

I used the frilly corset that has the ruffles and bows. I did this corset in several steps. I first stamped it out on white. Then I stamped it again in Regal Rose. Then I cute out all the regal rose pieces and attached them to the white image (yes that was tedious, but worth it!). Then I cut out the white image, cutting off the ruffles. Then I flipped the image over and added pieces of Red-line tape to the top and bottom where the ruffles go. Then using this adorable lace, I overlapped and made ruffles! I just adore how it turned out! Once I had it done and attached to the "Oo-la-la" layer (stamped with the Oo-la-la stamp in the set) I then covered all the regal rose paper with Stardust Stickles. Mmm, it's just so girly!
I also used one of the sentiments in the set for my sentiment. I just think the receiver will have to smile when reading it! LOL! The patterned paper is some new designs I found at Hobby Lobby! They were just perfect for what I wanted!

The layout I used for the card is this week's The Sweet Shop Sketch Challenge #51 (SSS51) found HERE.
