Easy as 1-2-3 for CCC and MTSC!

*This is the FIRST post for Today*
It's as easy as 1-2-3 with the Cupcake Craft this week! Recipe time! All you've got to use is:
1-Ribbon, 2-Designer Papers and 3-Buttons! And we have a sponsor for this week: Quixotic Paperie! This fabulous company is giving one lucky randomly drawn participant a £10 gift voucher! (That's about $13.50 USD). This challenge is sooo easy that you have NO excuse for not participating! Just go to the Cupcake Craft Challenge blog and add the link to your creation on good old Mr. Linky!

The really fun thing about these challenges is how creative you can be! Our CCC DT is all over the board in ideas this week! My own creation sorta just fell together and it turned out NOTHING like I expected! LOL! I was in one of those "moods" so my card is kinda wonky--and what better way to have a wonky card then to feature one of the super fab monsters by Paper Makeup Stamps? I used delightfully adorable Argus with his cute teddy bear.

What on earth was I thinking with this color scheme? Frankly, I don't have a clue! Who'd have put Old Olive, Tempting Turquoise, Chocolate Chip and White together? LOL! But it works, doesn't it? Stranger things have happened in my crafting world! These papers were really my inspiration. I was going to use each one seperately until I realised I didn't have a coordinating piece--then when I glanced down at them side by side a light bulb went off! To add even more fun, I layered them on a piece of white that has been embossed with Spots & Dots folder. I added a ribbon that doesn't quite match (intentional!) and then three buttons (LOVE the orangey one). The finishing touch? Adding Aqua glitter to Argus's horns!

This card is also my entry for this week's Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge (MTSC36)--I went a little out there with my middle piece, but the elements are still recognizable.
